
Satyam's disgraced ex-chief Ramalinga Raju and his brother Rama Raju spent the night with Andhra CID officials. They were grilled into the early hours of Saturday morning. The interrogation was reportedly focussed on whether anyone else in the board of directors was aware of this fraud and since when he has been fudging the company's accounts. "We have been conducting our enquiry and visiting some of the premises late in the evening. Mr Lingaraju and his brother have been taken into custody. Investigation is going on," said V S K Kaumadi, IG, CID, Andhra Pradesh Police.Raju was reportedly calm throughout the interrogation. They will be produced in court on Saturday. Ramalinga and his brother were arrested late Saturday night. Raju is also likely to face a probe team of market regulator SEBI later on Saturday. Three days ago, Raju, Satyam's Founder and Chairman had resigned from the company after confessing to one of India's biggest financial frauds.Ramalinga Raju and his brother were arrested hours after the government dissolved Satyam's board of directors on Friday.Raju's lawyer says after his late night arrest, they will now move his bail application."Andhra Pradesh CID had summoned Ramalinga Raju and Rama Raju, his brother, last eve. Following which Raju made himself available before the Andhra Pradesh Police, after which he was arrested. Interrogation went on for three hours. Ramalinga Raju is suffering from high blood pressure so a doctor was called in. He was treated and now he is alright. We will certainly move a bail application
